Your mind will not be my cage,

Light the palo santo and the sage,

Purify and turn the page,

Pause for righteousness, cease, release,

There is a case for Godliness, a reason to seek peace,

We must still ourselves as the world continues to turn,

Though absent now, the sun will return,

We will descend or rise together,

Let’s be wise and rise, let us be windswept feathers,

Floating on the breeze of mystery,

Hope, hardwork and many dreams,

Collaborating to rebuild our shared reality.

Does your divinity dance in daring dawn dreams?

Create and commune in cave of citrine,

Vibrant violet velvet vine,

Warm water wading, wind woven words flow like wine.

Quizzical, did the quest conquer or just proceed question?

Open origin,

Opulent ocean,

Let your remarkable roots rust,

In turquoise time we trust,

All to rise to be true,

Tortoise and tender new tattoo.

Is your feather free, your fire fine?

Fabulous freak, let the flag fly!

Thank the input, thank the insight,

Leap in the lavender lilac light.

Have a holy healing holiday,

Going knowing, all goals and growth are found in Grace.

Clear Lake

My Grandmother is now a bed of scattered stones,

My Grandfather, the cold, cutting breeze across my cheek,

My Mother, the forgiving lotus,

My Sister, the twinkling stars,

My Father, the familiar stranger,

& She teaches me to trust,

& He teaches me to love,

& I am

a cobalt feather,

riding the breeze of my ancestors,

all the way home.
